30+ Top Provo Temple Pictures

The Provo Utah Temple, dedicated on February 9, 1972, by President Joseph Fielding Smith, is an easy one to spot. It has a unique, circular style of the architecture surrounding a spire finished in gold. Mountains stand guard behind it, creating a beautiful backdrop to match every season of the year, whether the landscape takes on the green of warmer months, Utah’s gorgeous array of colors in the autumn, or a soft blanket of snow in the winter.

More importantly, the Provo Temple dedicatory prayer includes important promises unique to this stunning house of worship:

“We look forward to the day, O our God, when thou wilt reveal unto thy servants where other temples shall be built in all the nations where thy saints increase in numbers and serve thee in righteousness. We know that all men are thy children, and we pray for the day when all who will come may come and partake of the waters of life freely and gain for themselves the fullness of the blessings that thou hast in store for all those who love and serve thee with all their hearts.”

Provo Temple Paintings

Most of our Provo Temple pictures collection consists of photography, but two of our talented painters have also taken on the challenge.

These two paintings, one digital and one traditional highlight the beautiful grounds surrounding the Provo Temple. Mandy’s choice of red flowers and her textured sky give the impression of stepping out of today’s busy world and into a storybook.

Abigale’s painting, on the other hand, focuses on the natural beauty of the desert. Her mirage-like combination of browns and tans creates a warm and inviting picture of the Provo Utah Temple.
