I also added the olive branch in the background to represent a peace offering, that she was willing to give all that she had and was to Him. After a lot of thought and prayer before starting I asked a friend to model for it, I couldn't stop thinking about how it just had to be her. She later told me the day I reached out to ask her was one of the hardest days of her life, she was facing an incredibly difficult trial. After I had taken some images of her and started on the piece she said it was a bit painful to see it because it brought back those difficult emotions for her but as I slowly finished the painting, it almost became therapeutic for her to see how far she had come and how Heavenly Father must have known that if anyone was broken hearted, it was her and that's why she needed to be in the painting.
