Hold Fast by Annie Henrie Nader

Inspiration:

But ye will teach them to walk in the ways of truth and soberness; ye will teach them to love one another, and to serve one another. - Mosiah 4:15

This painting is of a family in prayer, surrounded by a storm. The father holds fast to a banner depicting the Proclamation on the Family, while he watches over his little family. There are symbols throughout the painting- the circle represents eternity, the square represents earthly life. As we make Christ the center of our families, we can have heaven on earth, peace despite the storms outside. The family is praying on a rocky outcrop, representing being built upon the rock of our Savior.
