Step 3 - Trust in God

Inspiration:

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - Psalm 9:10

Step three is about Trusting in God. I began this series to understand my sons and their journey. I chose the use of birds since they are inclusive to all people and cultures.As we move forward, we tenuously place our lives in His hands. Until we can trust, we can’t move forward. His hands were pierced. He paid the price for all our pain. He heals hearts, minds, and souls. Let us place ourselves, our hopes, and our heart's desires in His hands. The yellow glow of the sun represents the power of the Son. The trees represent the darkness of the world. We are the sparrow that is small but significant to God. Christ's hand lifts us out of the darkness, and through Him, we see the stars that show our way home. These stars form the Big and Little Dipper pointing to the North Star. If we follow Him we will be led home, free from the enslavement of addiction.
