Inspiration:

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. - John 13:14-15

As I painted this image, I envisioned the humility, pureness, and unmistakable joy that would radiate from a tender child allowed to wash our Savior’s feet. I knew that in a child's hands, even this simple task would be imperfectly performed. However, I also knew it would symbolize our willingness to serve, as imperfect as we may be. It is my testimony that our acts of service, both big and small, are accepted by our Father in Heaven. May this little girl's smile and feeble hands inspire you to rise above your doubts and fears and follow our Savior's example of giving loving service.
