DaKota Aitken’s love for the temple is rooted in the righteous example, sacrifice, and faith of his parents. That foundation has shaped his daily spiritual life through scripture study and regular worship in the temple. Through his photography, DaKota hopes to provide an elevated perspective that speaks peace to the heart and reminds others of sacred experiences they have felt in the House of the Lord.
He enjoys watching and playing sports, listening to country music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. A small-town boy from Utah, DaKota served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pennsylvania before graduating from BYU–Idaho. He currently lives in Philadelphia, where he is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Villanova University while making the most of all of the fun opportunities, incredible people, and beautiful temples that the East Coast has to offer
