Description

About this Image:

Few metaphors are more compelling than the law of the harvest: As a man sows, so shall he reap. Yet every farmer knows the secret to a successful harvest is not just in the seeds, but in preparing and maintaining the soil. In the parable of the sower, we learn that the seeds that fell by the wayside, in stony places, or among thorns, failed to take root and therefore provided no fruit. Though the seeds were good, the soil was not. The message is simple: We are the keepers of our hearts. It is up to us to provide good ground for the Savior’s word to take root, and when we do, we will truly discover the Joy of the Harvest.

About the Artist:

Simon has quietly sought to celebrate the life and mission of Jesus Christ. His artistic journey began in London, England as a freelance illustrator. In 1997 he entered the world of fine art with the release of "He Lives". Since then, Simon has become known for his exquisitely detailed and delicate portraits capturing moments from the tender to the magnificent. Many marvel at the masterful way he portrays the love and compassion in the face of the Savior and the devotion in the eyes of the believers. Simon lives in Alberta, Canada where he continues to explore new perspectives to inspire and bear witness of eternal principles.
