Simple Message

Inspiration:

Sometimes we experience a storm that is longer and darker than expected. When we open our heart and let out a prayer, it seems to go unanswered. After spending years afloat, Noah must have felt this way. He opens up a special window in the ark and lets out a prayer in the form of a Raven flying towards heaven. That raven wandered to and fro and never came back. Despite the disappointment of this unanswered prayer, Noah tries again with a dove. But the answer he received is "no". The dove just comes back empty-handed and exhausted. During this low point, Noah sends out a 2nd dove. When the hour is late and our faith is spent, our most desperate prayers eventually bring us what we need: A simple message of hope.
