Pioneer Trek by Adam Abram
About this Image:
And this shall be our covenant - that we will walk in all the ordinances of the Lord. - Doctrine and Covenants 136:4
The inspiring struggle of the pioneer companies can serve as a parable of our own mortal journey. This scene depicts a moment when the clouds offer a glimpse of Heaven's warmth while they yet continue to toil in the vast landscape of life.
About the Artist:
Adam Abram - born in Payson, Utah - is the Son of Ron and Mary Abram and is the fifth oldest in a family of twelve. After graduating high school, Adam apprenticed under professional artist Joseph Brickey who introduced him to 19th century classical realism. Studying Masters like William A. Bouguereau and Albert Bierstadt to name a few. Studying from the old masters and from life opened a new pathway of higher artistic understanding of form, light, and nature. Adam believes in developing both mental and physical talents, he enjoys composing music, writing, photography, acting, martial arts. Adam believes in putting 100% honest effort in whatever you do. He says of himself, "I'm a quality painter, not a quantity painter. In a hundred years, I'd rather be known for one great masterpiece than not be known after having done one hundred common works of art."
