Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball received a call in 1839 to leave Nauvoo and serve a mission in the British Isles. As the date of their departure drew near, they were both sick with malaria, as were their families, and it appeared they would not be able to depart on the appointed date. However, exercising faith and with the Lord's help, they did depart. As they traveled down the road, Brigham and Heber decided to halt the wagon, stand in spite of their illness, and give their families a cheer: Hurrah, Hurrah, Hurrah for Israel! The faith of those brethren was rewarded and they had a remarkable and successful mission.
