Inspiration:

Oh, how lovely was the morning! Radiant beamed the sun above…when within the shady woodland Joseph sought the God of love. - Joseph Smith's First Prayer, Hymn No. 26

Glancing upon the black and white photograph taken in 1907 of Church History sites by George Edward Anderson, I wanted to capture the spirit of the magnificent scene. The magical qualities that he captured a century ago came to life for me as I added the drama of color that I experienced when I visited this sacred place. I wanted to take the picture through time to our day so that the moment would not disappear but be reflected upon again and again.
