I love how peaceful and bright the Phoenix Temple is in the sunlight. Our temples are a refuge from the trials that can overwhelm us during earthly life. The straight, strong brushstrokes used to paint this temple lend a feeling of stability in contrast to the erratic strokes of the sky, which represent the uncertainty and chaos of life. In my own life, temples have brought me understanding and peace when I needed it the most. And it has brought a closeness to those I’ve lost and those that have lived long ago.Temples allow us to fill our ‘spiritual cup’ enough to have hope to go on through the path before us. And to know that we will never be alone on those paths.
