The Monterrey Mexico Temple was dedicated April 28, 2002, by President Gordon B. Hinckley, serving the Saints of northern Mexico in one of the country's great industrial cities. Its dedication brought the blessings of temple worship significantly closer to a large and faithful membership in the Monterrey metropolitan area.
