Abraham's Faith

Inspiration:

God tells us that we should have "no other God's before Him". He also commands us to offer to Him an offering of a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Anything that is more important to us than God keeps us from His blessings. Today, God asks us to put whatever that is on the proverbial altar and give it to Him. When I deny myself of things that keep me from God and submit to His will, God can then bless me with all I need to face the challenges of life. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to be told to sacrifice your son. For many of us there is no “ram in the thicket” for the trials we face but if we seek God's will and do it, God will run to our aid and help us with our hardest challenges.
