Inspiration:

For those who thought of Jesus as only Joseph's son, this declaration was hard to take. In anger, they rose up and thrust the Lord out of the city. May those of us who believe His words- who know Him to be the Savior of the world- never be guilty of thrusting Him out of our lives. As He kindly offers us His light and truth, may we be uplifted and edified- worthy to be called His friends.
