Boston Temple by Anne Bradham
About this Image:
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. - Matt 5:14
The Boston temple faced great opposition from the local community, but the local leaders were guided in their quest and the temple was finally approved. I chose this view of the temple to show the firm, rock foundation it was built on and how it rose like a light unto the world despite the initial opposition.
About the Artist:
ANNE J. BRADHAM grew up in the Washington DC area with exposure to art at an early age. While a student at BYU, she traveled extensively throughout Europe on a semester abroad program with artist James C. Christensen. Her work can be found in both public and private collections such as the late Senator Robert F Bennett, Franklin-Covey Co., Museum of History and Art, and the Utah Museum of Art. Though she currently resides in Georgia with her family, Anne traveled to each of the temples she has painted. Anne hopes her temple paintings will convey the spirit she felt while on the temple grounds and help all to remember the love God has for them and the covenants they have made.
