Beyond the Veil by Annie Henrie Nader

Inspiration:

But the day soon cometh that ye shall see me, and know that I am; for the veil of darkness shall soon be rent. - Doctrine and Covenants 38:8

This is a painting of our final reunion with Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. The veil blowing in the background represents how nothing will be hidden, and all will be understood, the veil being taken from our minds, and we will see clearly. The mother in this painting represents mothers we knew in this life, and also those who never had the opportunity to raise their children while on earth. Some of the people in the painting are holding hands, representative of bringing our loved ones with us on the progress to salvation. It is meant to be a painting of hope for achieving a final and glorious destination.
