This Is My Joy by Annie Henrie Nader

Inspiration:

And this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. - Alma 29:9

This painting is an attempt to reflect the deep joy found in serving God as a missionary. I remember the weather on my mission as often being both windy and beautiful in the countryside, and as we walked while preaching the gospel, I found time to reflect on the power of the Holy Ghost and the love of God for His children. The gold leaves in this painting symbolizes the spiritual light that was poured into my life and the lives of others and my newfound joy in bringing souls to Christ.
