I Am a Child of God by Cary Henrie
About this Image:
"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High." - Psalm 82:6
This painting of a child and a butterfly by Cary Henrie affirms that knowing we are children of a loving Heavenly Father gives us the reassurance and resolve to continually strive to be like Him. The hopeful knowledge that we are part of His perfect plan nudges us to become the bright beings He intends us to be.
About the Artist:
CARY HENRIE sold his first painting at age 15 to the New Era. But his official career began in New York City, where he studied at the prestigious Pratt Institute and spent a decade working as a top illustrator. His passion for landscapes then drew him West to the Wasatch Mountains where he has continued to refine his gifts. Cary describes his work as "engraved and weathered." His images often include a resonating hymn or verse of scripture, bringing a sense of spiritual calm to homes around the world.
