Inspiration:

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

As young parents we used to pray with our children in hopes that they would continue with their personal prayers as they grew older. Once again being inspired by the idea of the reflection in a mirror, Doc’s purpose for this painting was to cause the viewer to realize the desire our Savior has that we pray with our children and help them learn to love Him.
