Inspiration:

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. - Romans 15:4

For quite some time Doc was intrigued by the concept of having the Savior reflected in the mirror during an otherwise ordinary event taking place within a family setting. This was the motivation behind the painting, "Scripture Study". His hope is that this painting might stimulate people to realize the desire our Savior has that we remember him through our study of the Scriptures.
