Inspiration:

"How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings." -Psalm 36:7

This was a blessed little miracle for me. I actually had a different painting planned, a full length image of the Savior and several children. But after a careful review of my reference, I found a close-up that seemed to capture everything I wanted to say.
