Armour of God

Inspiration:

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. - Ephesians 6:11

When a dear friend of mine left the Church, my heart was broken. It was as if he took off his armour piece by piece over time, leaving him exposed to the enemy. I wondered how this could have happened. When reading in Ephesians 6 one morning, I felt inspired to paint a depiction of the passage and create a message about the importance of wearing the Armour of God daily. This Armour isn’t the most fashionable, comfortable, or convenient to put on. God has asked us to put on His whole armour to be able to withstand in the evil day. His armour cannot be left in the closet- it must be put on daily to battle.
