Inspiration:

And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. - Luke 19:41 - 42

The sorrow of the Son of God as he wept over a city whose eyes were turned from the source of peace and salvation. The emphatic statement If thou hadst known...at least in this thy day calls to each one of us now to remember that today is now our day. Let the sorrows of the past help us look to the source of better actions, higher hopes, and brighter days ahead.
