Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is involved in every detail of our lives. He is the Son, and our Sun: the giver of life and light. This vibrant yellow illustrates the truly tangible light and joy that He offers us each. Yellow also symbolizes clarity, power, courage, abundance, faith, and fulfillment; all things Christ makes available to us. ‘Tangible Light’ was created with the intent of connecting it’s viewers to Christ, and highlighting His immense goodness and radiant power.

About the Artist:

As a mother of three, SAM NEWTON generally creates in the early morning and during school hours. One or more children are regularly seated next to her creating their own beautiful masterpieces. She loves the outdoors, yet is a natural homebody. You can find her regularly rearranging home furniture and creating in the kitchen without recipes. Calm, meditative time with God has been a strong form of her therapy through life's challenges. Additionally, writing and creating art have become one of her anchors to God. Sam is known to dream big, fall often, and receive God's grace in getting back up again. As an advocate for helping individuals find His light in the darkness, Sam is invested in wellness for each of our spirits, minds, and bodies. Her art is meant to connect every part of our messy and colorful lives to God.
