Abigale brings a soft touch to her art not only with her brushwork but also with the subjects she illustrates. Much of her work is centered around celebrating motherhood. And rather than overly romanticizing or glorifying this important role, Abigale paints scenes most mothers are familiar with such as cooking dinner, reading to children, or becoming a jungle gym for active toddlers. It is clear that Abigale paints from experience, which allows her to bring deep heart and meaning to her minimalist paintings.
