For Carin, art has never been an escape from reality; it's been her connection to it. As a child, she grew up wearing hearing aids and thick glasses. She could see the color and movement around her but felt cut off from it all. It has granted her a unique view of the world that she now shares with others, painting vibrant and symbolic pieces.
