Scenes of Gratitude from the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and More

The scriptures are full of stories and examples of gratitude. In the Bible, we read about the gratitude of Jesus Christ as he healed the sick and fed the hungry. We also read about the gratitude of the disciples when they were able to share their faith with others. In the Book of Mormon, we read about Lehi and his family expressing their thanks to God when they miraculously reached the promised land. These next paintings portray some of these touching scenes and more:

Art Symbolizing Gratitude

Some artists choose to express gratitude through more symbolic paintings. These pieces may not necessarily depict a specific scene, but they can still remind us of the blessings we have received. The beautiy of symbolic art is that, much like poetry, it invites us to ponder different layers of meaning. As you look at these paintings, take a moment to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life. We are sure you will find many reasons to give thanks!

It is so important to be thankful for all that we have been given in life. Is allows us to see the good in people and in situations. We focus on the positive, and this helps us to be happier and more successful in life. Gratitude also strengthens our relationships and brings us closer to others. This Thanksgiving, let's take some time to reflect on all that we are grateful for.

Let us all remember the things we are grateful for this Thanksgiving and carry that feeling of gratitude with us throughout the year. Happy Thanksgiving!
